Refund Policy
Based upon the Psychologist’s Association of Alberta (PAA) recommended fee schedule for 2020, ReDiscovery Psychological Services fee guide is:
Free 15 minute consult for potential clients
$180 per 50 minutes – for individuals in-person or virtual session.
$200 per 50 minutes – for couples and families in-person or virtual session.
Report writing, telephone consultation, chart copying, detailed fee breakdowns, letters and form completion are billed in ten minute increments at $180 / hour.
Payment is required at the conclusions of sessions and prior to the release of a report or non-urgent copy of a chart.
Appointments cancelled outside of the 24 hour cancelation period will be charged at 100%.
Effective July 2021, all payments will now be processed through the Jane Booking system and can be made by Visa, Mastercard or Visa Debit. Your signature below represents pre-authorization to use your credit card to charge for fees and services. Receipts will be emailed once payment has been processed.
Just like you have benefits for massage or chiropractic care, you also likely have benefits for mental health care. It is the client’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the provisions of their insurance provider’s coverage. Receipts for mental health services will be issued in the name(s) of the client receiving services. If multiple individuals are present in session, receipts will be divided amongst all individuals attending session. If you would like direct billing, please discuss this option with your therapist. Please note that if you are direct billing, ReDiscover Psychological Services will be disclosing your name and session dates with your insurance provider.
Refund:
Due to the nature of our work, we do not accept refunds for services rendered. If you had an issue with the services rendered, please discuss this with your therapist so changes can be made in additional sessions. You are also welcome to withdraw consent at any time. When services have been rendered there is an expectation of payment. If these payments are not made within a month after services rendered, staff from ReDiscover Psychological Services will attempt to collect payment. However, a collection agency may become involved in collecting payment if payment has not been received at this time.
